Sew Fun! Make a Braided Mat (Session 2 of 2)

Come learn to turn fabric yardage into a braided mat--a project whose size/scale can be easily tinkered with to make small items (such as placemats or potholders) or LARGE ones (such as a rug!). This is a 2-part class; to register, hop back to Session 1 (on Oct 17) and secure your spot.

During the first class, we'll work on cutting and braiding our fabric strips. During session 2, we'll stitch them together. Hope you can join us!

Note: Please sign up for ONLY the number of machines you/your party will need. (So if you're a mom and you're bringing two kiddos--but you all plan to share a machine--you need only sign up for one spot.)

This class is FREE, and supplies--even sewing machines!--are included. This offering is brought to you by Common Threads, NKCPL's makerspace for sewing and textiles.

** By registering for this class, you agree to the Library's Program and Event Policy and Waiver of Liability, available at nkcpl.org/about/policies-reports.
