We’re so excited to partner with KCPBS to bring you Daniel Tiger’s Life’s Little Lessons program. This program aims to introduce preschool aged children (ages 3-5) to ideas on how to manage everyday social and emotional challenges. We will be featuring two topics from this program.
This weeks topic: Alike & Different
Young children are naturally curious. They ask a lot of questions. A child who looks or acts in a way that differs from the majority will be noticed by other children, even if those other children don’t make open comments. However, curiosity about someone new or different can disappear over time as the children build relationships with one another.
