NKCPL Earns 4 Stars in 2016!

It's official! North Kansas City Public Library has again ranked highly, earning four stars (out of a possible five), in Library Journal’s Index of Public Library Service, an annual ranking. The Library Journal Index compares public libraries in America with their spending peers based on the following per capita statistics: circulation, library visits, program attendance and public Internet computer use. NKCPL is one of just six libraries in the state of Missouri to earn a ranking in this year’s index. Three of those six libraries earned three stars, and one other library (in addition to NKCPL) earned four stars. Only one library earned a five-star rating in the Journal’s 2016 index.
