We did it again! NKCPL Earns 4 Stars in 2017

North Kansas City Public Library has again ranked highly, earning four stars (out of a possible five), in Library Journal’s Index of Public Library Service, an annual ranking. The Library Journal Index compares public libraries in America with their spending peers based on the following per capita statistics: circulation, library visits, program attendance and public Internet computer use--and this is the seventh year in a row that NKCPL has won an America's Star Library award. NKCPL is one of just six libraries in the state of Missouri to earn a ranking in this year’s index. Two of those six libraries earned three stars, and two other libraries (in addition to NKCPL) earned four stars. Only one library earned a five-star rating in the Journal’s 2017 index.
