Please note: Want to take other sewing classes here at NKCPL, or use the sewing room on your own? You must take this (Intro) class FIRST. 

New to sewing, or want to refresh your skills? Or interested in taking other (project-based) sewing classes here at NKCPL? You're in the right place! Join us for an overview of the Library's sewing room, plus an intro to the Janome sewing machine. You'll learn to wind the bobbin, thread the machine, select the right stitches for your project, and get sewing. You'll also learn some basic troubleshooting techniques, and how to keep your machine clean and tidy. No need to bring anything--we'll supply the supplies!
