The North Kansas City Historical Society is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the city and surrounding area. Rebuilding Together Kansas City provides critical repairs and safety modifications - free of charge - for neighbors in need. This includes repairs such as wood rot repair, solving plumbing and electrical issues, and roof/gutter repairs, as well as tools and modifications that increase the accessibility of homes. These modifications include grab bars, railings, low-rise steps, wheelchair ramps, and more.
At reStart, we exist to end homelessness in Kansas City. To do so, we believe we must serve and accept everyone. Through emergency shelter, individualized case management and wrap-around services, we are here to support the whole person and shepherd residents from homelessness to safe and stable housing.
